Lecture Recorder x2™ is Epiphan's next generation portable multi-media audio-visual event recording appliance specifically tailored to training and education applications where the presentation display content, the presenter camera and audio are captured synchronized, recorded and streamed on the fly to standard video format encoding and multi-media players.
Lecture Recorder x2 features:
- Portable hardware appliance for recording multi-media events in classrooms, boardrooms, training theaters and desktops
- Power over Ethernet – no cumbersome power supplies at the recording podium
- Captures and synchronizes VGA/DVI or HDMI display sources, an analog video camera source and an audio source
- Dynamic Picture with Picture Frame Rate Performance Balancing for optimal multi-source multi-media stream viewing experiences
- On-the-fly encoding of both multi-media sources into one of multiple standard video file encoding formats (e.g.MPEG4, H.264)
- Multi-stream viewing and recording
- Available with 16GB or 32GB of internal video recording storage
- Auto-push multi-media video recordings to FTP site, CIFS, RSYNC network storage, or USB local flash drive
Broad support for multiple display resolutions and form factors
- HTTP API and RS-232 interface for integration with 3rd party applications and hardware
- Integrates with Epiphan remote control iTunes applications
